Not Milk

Tony went out one day to get his favorite fast food fix and soon after he leaves, my phone is ringing.  Apparently, the car is overheating and he doesn't know what to do.  After the last experience of Tony and an overheating car, we told him not to do anything, we'd be there in a few minutes.  When we got to him, we found the car was totally dry and it took several minutes to refill the empty radiator and cool off the car.  Several large bottles out of my car were used in the aid of fixing the problem, and we told him to keep them in his car...just in case.  Well, those large bottles were being used for drinks in the refrigerator, and when he called, we grabbed the empties.  Ok, so now my drink bottles are in his car, and I have to find something else to fix my drinks in.  Along comes the milk jug...emptied out and rinsed, it works fine.  So, currently,  I have two milk jugs in the refrig and Tony almost made the mistake of picking up the wrong container of 'milk' for his cereal.  He said, "Why aren't they marked?"   Today, I'm glad to know when I go in the refrigerator and I'm looking for something to drink, I'll pick the container written on that says, "not milk," if I want something other than milk. Funny kid.

Random Thoughts

I've been reading a book that in order to be a 'writer,' one needs to write random thoughts.  Today is pretty random:  I have so many things to do, everything is just clogging up my brain and somehow I need to get all this mess cleared out.  So many things to do, so little time to do it all.  I know you must be feeling the same thing, too...For example, I have to finish cleaning my office and getting rid of excess paper.  OMG, I am so tired of the excess paper and just excess everything!!  I'm ready to just throw it all in the dumpster and say, "Forget it," but can't, because we are supposed to be careful of WHAT information is thrown away.  I remember back in the day when those things weren't things you had to worry about.  When kids could safely walk to school, when you didn't have to be careful when exiting a store because now someone might mug you.  When you didn't have to worry about identity theft...when you didn't have to lock your doors at night.  I remember alot of nice things that you just can't do today....<sigh>  Just randomly thinking my thoughts out loud.

Grrr

Trying to figure out how to make this thing work is annoying.  I don't like annoying; I like things to work the first time.  I'll be adding more things on my blog-site...I guess I'll have to get Mary Cherry or Jen to help me with this mess.  In the meantime, I got this much done...be happy!
